Taken a break from painting last couple of weeks, but will be picking up the brushes again now. The work in the interim has been on finishing the French Dragoon Command:
And also doing a conversion to create a suitable Grenadier figure for the unit currently being painted:
Back again soon ....

Lovely work, John. Bravo!
There are looking good.
Wonderful work, John.
Jiminho, Jim, Dave,
Thanks for the kind comments, these chaps have been due for a long time, but I just never got going on them. Nice to have them completed.
John
These look very good indeed John- your proportions are always so perfect.
Carlo,
Thanks, I try for a simple, clean look, that I think fits well with this figure style.

Wonderful work. I have the dragoons now I can get the command. Also have the Spanish. Love the grenadier.
Mark,
My apologies the command were so long delayed, it's only a hobby for me, so I have to fit it in around lots of other things. Hopefully they'll be in production soon.
Cheers

John,
No apologies needed. Your blog got me hooked on The War of Austrian Succession. Just glad your skilled hands are turning out amazing figures. I am surprise Graham hasn't been after you to sculpt Dutch troops.
Have a great weekend.
Mark
Mark,
Pleased to know that I've got you interested in the period. I think it has a lot to offer, and tends to get overlooked a bit in favour of the SYW, despite the fact that in many ways its more interesting and diverse.
