I made two units using this original pose, and then decided to do another one, this time standing, I think it was less successful, and if I was making it again, I would do a few aspects of it differently, however, I do think it turned out to an "acceptable" level, but not my best work. Here's a unit of them, Kalbermatten, very nicely painted by Dave Jarvis.

I have a couple of units in this pose and I like it, a nice alternative to the other poses. That is a lovely unit you have posted, they really look the part.

I think they look ok, and certainly Dave did a nice job on them, which shows them at their best. In the end I did three poses for Savoia, I'll post these up in due course
I like the standing pose because it provides some pose variety.
They are still jolly good. Kalbermatten have a lovely uniform with yellow facings, I love the contrast of the Swiss regiments with the white of the Savoia.
